Following a hiatus that lasted over 5 years, Icelandic band múm are back at last. On June 18th they announced a new album titled History of Silence (which is to be released on September 19th via Morr Music). This will be their first new album since 2013’s Smilewound.
Coinciding with the album announcement was the unveiling of the first single, “Mild At Heart”. This song involves a melody-driven blend of organic and electronic instruments. Its sound signifies the direction that the band went with this album.
